METHODOLOGY AND LEARNING STYLE

PIET Sanskriti School curriculum is equipped with a unique integration of traditional and modern educational theory and practice in alliance with the CBSE requirement.

NCERT is a basis for the curriculum up to the end of Grade 8. The school takes account of excellent educational practice and high-quality research from around the world, in planning the curriculum and search for the most effective ways to ensure that every pupil learns effectively. Leaders and senior staff at PIET have a responsibility to ensure that the curriculum undergoes continuous review and development and that it is properly planned, resourced and taught. The school year is from April to March and is divided into two terms. The medium of instructions throughout is English. A third language French is taught from classes V to VIII. The CCE guidelines have been implemented from class Pre-Nursery to class V with a grading system reflecting scholastic and co-scholastic areas in the report card. Emphasis is placed on experimental learning, planned class activities, audio visual aids, modules on smart boards etc.
